Dr Esther Loo is the current Head of Organisation Design and Effectiveness (role commonly known as Human Capital Transformation ) at Malaysia Airlines Berhad. For the past five years, Dr Esther has been deeply involved in driving digital transformation in Malaysia by focusing on the talent aspects in the digital world. She is passionate about data and humanising technology. Currently, she is attached as Head of Organisation Design and Effectiveness at Malaysia Airlines Berhad and lead the Human Capital Digital Transformation roadmap in the organisation.
Prior before MAB, she was the Head of Digital Advocate and Knowledge Management at UEM Edgenta Berhad, a government-linked company with a strong and diverse workforce of more than 18 K. Her achievements were recently featured in Microsoft’s Customer Success Story Portal.
And she also took the role as the Head of Knowledge Management and IT at TalentCorp Malaysia, a government agency under Prime Minister Office. During her time at TalentCorp, she had managed and lead international talent profiling projects for government and MNC companies. She is deeply involved in government-related projects, task forces, policies and guidelines to further expand digital transformation in the country and were appointed as one of the MDEC Technical Steering Committee and Malaysia’s Ministry of Multimedia and Communication’s technical and influencers committee.
She is no stranger to public talks/ sharing on her learning those that relates to big data and digital transformation. Her most recent session was on Microsoft HR summit 2020 as one of their speaker.
