Shahul Hameed Dawood – 45 years old, self-made entrepreneur, well known for his entrepreneurial acumen with twenty-five years of corporate experience behind him. Shahul is well versed in the field of events management, raining & education, recruitment and IT industry. Being born into a family who has always been in business he has had a continuous exposure to the corporate world. Immediately after graduation, he joined Informatics College as a Lecturer in 1996. He rose quickly up the corporate ladder to become the Assistant Director of Informatics Corporate Training Malaysia – transforming it from a virtual unknown in the industry into a leader in IT training & education. He was leading a group of 120 employees nationwide that comprised of 14 centres across Malaysia. In his tenure, he activated many new training programs and certification ie; Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Java Programming and many more.
In 2004, he then served time as the General Manager for Jobs.DB Malaysia a leading on-line recruitment company in Asia and later pushing it to great heights and success. His experiences and achievements do not end there– he acquired a UK based recruitment company and transformed it into a leading local recruitment agency spreading its branches throughout the Asia Market. He has successfully organised many large-scale Job Fairs in Malaysia and overseas. He worked very closely with universities and their alumnis for placements of unemployed graduates and also reskilling retrenched workers and by sourcing the right placements for them.
Within a short span of time, he has also diversified his business into tours and travels, events management, international recruitment, publications and IT solutions. He is also well known for his involvement in NGOs as well as youth development & training activities. Shahul is a competent public speaker in the local and international circuit.
