Mode Ruffedge

International Conference on Learning & Development

Syed Mohammad has been practising as a project architect for the past 16 years undertaking numerous categories of development projects spanning from housing estate rehabilitation and mixed developments to university campuses and hospital designs. He is well versed in the development processes as well as contract implementation and management.

However, keeping abreast with current trends and technologies, he delves passionately into the vast possibilities of intelligent buildings where sustainability is central in the establishment of the current green building initiatives. Taking particular interest in the practicality and challenges of maintaining and managing sustainable buildings in our local setting, he is still exploring it’s viability and educative role.

He is also currently undertaking the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) Professional Practice examinations to broaden his horizons within the industry. When he is not out meeting clients, design drafting, conducting site visits or burying his face in books, he moonlights as a fifth of the singing outfit Ruffedge for a different take in life.
